Medical Aestheticians

Medical Aestheticians : A New Challenge for Aestheticians

Aestheticians are licensed skin care specialists.  The job outlook  for  aestheticians is expected to grow exponentially within the next five years. A major contributing factor for the upward growth is the onslaught of varied  medical physicians seeking  clinical skin care specialists to work with their growing Medical Aesthetics Practice /Skin Health and Wellness Centers. Aestheticians should prepare to become a more sought after skin care specialist within this time frame. Aestheticians must prepare to compete providing more advanced clinical skin care concepts, facial aesthetics techniques, and medical aesthetics protocols that deliver , safe, efficacious, therapeutic , cost-conscious, competive and provides results that are measurable.

Medical Aestheticians are licensed to perform general facial  aesthetic procedures or more commonly known as non-invasive facial aesthetics.  A "medical aesthetician license" is not currently available. Medical Aestheticians are qualified in performing varied medical aesthetic procedures that do not cross the lines of practicing medicine. Many doctors that believe medical aesthetics is practicing medicine is just simply wrong. Medical Aesthetics was breathed and conceptualized by an aesthetician. Moreover, the skills that the medical aesthetician perform were designed to compliment the physicians practice, provide comprehensive clinical skin care management and to implement an adjunctive financially producing program outside of nursing programs. No medical aesthetician working within Medical Aesthetics office practice medicine. Medical Aestheticians enhance most any standing medical practice or hospital program. Medical Aestheticians work with the physician and nurse to provide patient-client services that are not a mimicking or compete with the eithers training.
