Nurse-Aesthetician
Nurse-Aestheticians are skin care specialists that have graduated from a nursing program ( LPN-RN), graduated from an Aesthetics School Program ( Skin Care Specialist ). They merge both backgrounds and have received a specialized certification in Medical Aesthetics FACE® Facial Aesthetics Cosmetic Education.
The nurse-aesthetician that receives specialized information, skills, treatments, procedures, and protocols in Medical Aesthetics FACE® would be able to offer the physicians Medical Aesthetics program a highly competive, result oriented and effective aesthetic procedures. The nurse-aesthetician positions ones credentials ahead of her/his peers by recognizing that the society is changing from seeking "surgery" or "medication" as their only option(s) to care for their aesthetic concerns. The kind of "patient-client" that seek these medical aesthetic services will request services that are performed by the nurse-aesthetician-physician team approach. Presently, aestheticians working in this competive mode work to facilitate the practice through direct patients/clients skin care procedures. These aestheticians working with physicians are considered as clinical aestheticians and/or medical aestheticians. Both titles infer that have obtained advanced training, hold an aesthetic license, and have obtained CEU in Medical Aesthetics.
Nurses can recieve Laser Certification, Microdermabrasion, Chemabrasion, Micropigmentation, Scar Reduction, Tattoo Reversal Techniques, Botox®, Cosmetic Fillers and learn a pleothra of Facial Aesthetics skills.These skills will only become more competive to receive as the years unfold.
